“THE 19 PROJECT” Was founded by multi award-winning creative and design director, Limelight. It fuses his love of visual imagery and the creative arts, with his celebrated heritage within the London fashion industry.

Now inspired by the eclectic mix of his creativity, Limelight has forged his reflective journey in fashion with his passion for photography and all things visual across the multi-dimensional spectrum.

Emotional photography is at the heart of his work. He blends story telling into creative works that focus on expressing the self. Over the next few years 19Project will release a run of limited prints, large scale framed works, alongside collaborative works, as well as releasing the affordable “Space Art” Project collection for sale.

The new project I’m currently exploring is the subconscious emotional interactions we have, interacting with the objects and humans we love on a subconscious level. How one naturally invokes the subconscious through subtle actions of reassurance towards the things we love, a heightened  unconsciousness to obtain.

Obtaining this subconscious connection creates a natural flow within us to the inanimate objects and people who have meaning. The flip side, and there’s always a flip side in life… as quickly as these emotion arrives, they can be broken leading you down a different road. Allowing ourselves to give love and be loved is an emotional gamble we all take in life.

Images tell only part of the story. Take a look beyond the visual and gain more understanding behind that image, what’s the story on both side, this may lead to a completely different interpretation. When I was at a talk by the war photographer Don Mccullin, he quietly sat on stage explaining what led to taking each image. The stories behind the pictures totally changed my interpretation of the images and their meaning.

This project feels very open at the moment, bit of a communal journey starting, well that’s the idea.
